    Chief Executive Officer

    Opening doors for business and community opportunities is what the East St. Tammany is about.  Going into my tenth year as CEO, it is an honor to represent the community I was born and raised in.  Being a mother and a business woman, I understand it is important to build relationships with people we can trust.  Your Chamber is here to do that for you.  With a genuine staff who truly cares about that forward progress of our business climate, it is a joy to work for our community everyday building prosperity for growth and providing opportunities for our membership. 
    I hope that you use our website to support our Chamber members, ABC.  Our region offers you a variety of resources to satisfy your needs. From cafés to fine dining, from clothing stores to upscale boutiques,  from antique shops to professional art paintings, from spas to health clubs, from auto parts to new automobiles. The list goes on and on.  You can find everything you need to satisfy your professional and family needs. Help keep our local economy rolling by spending your hard earned dollars to support the businesses in our area and prove that we are proud of the businesses located here and support “Buy Local”.

  • Ann Bowser

    Chief Administrative Officer 

    Ann Bowser is the Chief Administrative Officer at the Chamber.    Ann has been at the Chamber for 5 years and just completed her second year at the Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence from the University of Oklahoma.  She is a graduate of Leadership Northshore Class of 2014.  Ann is also the Program Director for the Chamber’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy.   I love being a part of the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce.  I work with a great team and being a part of all that we do is an awesome experience and something different almost every day.  We take pride in helping our businesses and our community grow.  Ann has been married for 27 years to Kenny Bowser and is the mother of two, Madeline age 21 and Blake age 20.  Besides her work at the Chamber Ann enjoys family, gardening, and travel in her spare time.
  • JoBeth Kavanaugh

    Chief Operating Officer 

    JoBeth Kavanaugh, is the Chief Operating Officer the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, a graduate from the Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence from the University of Oklahoma. JoBeth was recently recognized for her work as a Community Ambassador for the St. Tammany Parish School Board.   She is a Leadership Northshore Class of 2010 Alumni and Mentor and Secretary of the Leadership Class for 2010, founding member of the Camellia City Kiwanis Charity Race, and recognized for her contributions to Families Helping Families and Fit as a Firefighter. JoBeth is a board member of several organizations in St. Tammany Parish  including Children’s Wish Endowment, Business Women’s Network of East St. Tammany, and Camellia City Kiwanis. JoBeth has served as a maid for the Slidell Olde Town Associations St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Since 2011, JoBeth Kavanaugh has been a member of the Slidell Memorial Hospitals Women’s Health Alliance and is currently serving as the organizations President. The Chamber has provided JoBeth with the opportunity to pursue her passion for assisting women in business while furthering her desire to assist many community organizations in St. Tammany Parish. 
  • Jamie Dakin 

    Marketing Director

    As the marketing Director for the east St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce I strive to open doors and build relationships with the businesses in our community.  My goal is to “Do Good” and work hard to make a difference in our community.  I am also inspired by the wonderful team that I get to work with everyday.   I looked forward to helping our businesses and community prosper.  Jamie is the mother of two, Kyleigh and Beau, she resides in Slidell with her husband Kim. I am a graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi , with a bachelors degree in Marketing.

  • Kristi Boudreau 

    Information Specialist

    Kristi Boudreau is the Information Specialist at the Chamber. Kristi is the newest Chamber employee and is responsible for informing the membership and general public of chamber activities and service through the coordination and distribution of internal and external information. Kristi is a lifelong resident of Slidell. She graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi, with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management and is currently working on her MBA at Grantham University. Kristi says, “Slidell holds a big place in my heart. Now, I get to see firsthand how the Chamber contributes to the success of our local businesses and community.” In addition to her busy Chamber schedule, she enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.
  • Anita Bruno 

    Anita Bruno has been assisting the Chamber with events for several years and on a full time basis after adding the Marketplace to the Chamber building.  Growing up in the region, Anita enjoys giving back with being a part of the committee that manages Project Graduation for all local high schools and being a member of the Slidell Women Civic Club.  “Working with the chamber gives me the ability to work with local business people and assist the community at the same time” said Anita.  She is the mother of two boys and married to a local Fire Chief, Nicky Bruno, they reside in Pearl River.  Anita enjoys the outdoors, gardening, cooking and photography.
